C. Michael Hausman

C. Michael Hausman has more than 39 years of legal service and experience, representing clients throughout southeastern Wisconsin in more than 100 jury trials. He remains active in numerous legal organizations, including the Collaborative Divorce System of Wisconsin, the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (1975), the Association of Trial Lawyers of America (1972), the Milwaukee Bar Association (1967), Waukesha Bar Association (1968), the Wisconsin Academy of Trial Lawyers (1972), the State Bar of Wisconsin - Family Law Section (1967), the American Arbitration Association, and the International Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (1988).

He has served as President of the Waukesha Bar Association in 2004-2005 and is currently a member of the State Bar of Governors.  He has been selected, since 2005, as a "Super Lawyer in Wisconsin" by his fellow Wisconsin attorneys.

Mr. Hausman is currently a Municipal Judge for the City of Delafield, an elected position he has held since 1983. He was admitted to the U.S. Supreme Court in 1972 and the Eastern District of the U.S. District Court in 1967. He has been named one of the "Best Lawyers in America" from 1991. Mr. Hausman earned his Juris Doctorate from Marquette University Law School (1967).

Linda Gillard, Paralegal

Linda Gillard is the firm’s paralegal, performing a number of vital functions including assisting the attorneys prepare for closings, hearings, trials, and corporate meetings. She assists with the investigation of the facts relevant to active cases and works to ensure that all relevant information is considered.

Ms. Gillard holds a bachelor’s degree in paralegalism from Concordia College. She brings more than 16 years of family law experience to C. Michael Hausman and Associates, Ltd., and has been a member of the firm since 1995. She also serves as a Municipal Court Clerk for the City of Delafield.
